Hilde van Uffelen-van der Burg
A labour law specialist, Hilde is very experienced in representing both employers and employees. This provides her with insight as to how your counterparty thinks. With her expertise, involvement, and practical approach, she ensures that your labour conflicts are resolved quickly and effectively or, even better, are prevented.
In addition to excellent legal knowledge, Hilde also has an eye for the practical side of business. Hilde is also regularly involved in the acquisitions practice, where, among other things, she gives advice on the consequences of company acquisitions for the staff, identifies risks in the field of employees, and draws up various contracts, such as management agreements with directors.
In 2009, Hilde graduated from Erasmus University Rotterdam in Dutch Law, obtaining a Master’s degree in Private Law. In 2013, she successfully completed a the Labour Law specialist course at the Grotius Academy, thereby expanding her specialism.

Hilde also regularly gives lectures and workshops in the area of labour law, such as ‘Practical tips on how to deal with a sick employee’, ‘Current issues in labour law’, ‘Tips and tricks for dismissal law’ and ‘Masterclass: your employee is performing inadequately’.
Hilde’s approach is committed and practical. Tailor-made expert advice and the ability to switch quickly are characteristic for her work. Her hobbies are tennis and cooking. In the winters, she loves to spend a week skiing in the mountains.
