Hans has a background in company law and contract law. He acts as trustee in bankruptcy and represents (medium-sized to) large companies with contractual and competition law challenges.
The challenges related to contracts are very diverse. Breach of contract, wrongful act, dissolution, settlements, compensation for damage: when drawing up and assessing contracts, all legal figures are applied. It is also important not to lose sight of the competition position: the Competitive Trading Act is strict and its penalties are high. Resist the temptation of cheap – it always turns out to be expensive!
Education
After studying contemporary and socio-economic history, Hans studied private law at Utrecht University. In 2012, he followed the National and International Contracting specialist course at the Grotius Academy.
