Mirjam is an experienced lawyer at Hoens & Souren Advocaten in Zoetermeer, specializing in contract and liability law. She assists clients in various liability matters, including directors’ liability, employer liability and (international) contractual liability.
Mirjam also advises and litigates on a wide range of commercial contracts, including general terms and conditions, cooperation agreements and supply contracts. She helps clients identify and mitigate risks before they turn into legal disputes.
Background
Mirjam studied at Leiden University, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Criminology, a bachelor’s degree in Law and a master’s degree in Business Law. She wrote her thesis on group financing. She studied for a semester at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, where she took courses in International Corporate Law and Legal Systems.
In addition to her work as a lawyer, Mirjam is vice-chair of the board of the Young Bar Association at the Supreme Court of the Netherlands.
